New Offering: Connection & Communication Skills Workshop for Couples! 

Have you found yourself experiencing more disagreements or conflicts with your partner lately?  Or noticing a lack of connection or general dissatisfaction within your relationship? Join us for a fun night of relationship skills education and individual practice with a licensed therapist. Perfect for the couple who wants to prioritize their relationship, deepen their connection, and prevent major issues down the road. 

WHAT YOU WILL LEARN:

  • How to improve communication and diffuse conflict

  • Better ways to navigate common conflict areas and decrease tension

  • How to increase and maintain emotional intimacy and good will

  • Understand common factors that lead to tension and strengthen the bond you have with your partner

    1) Who is this workshop for?

    -Committed couples- married, dating, engaged. This group is for

    informational and educational purposes only and is not a substitute

    for therapy. It is not appropriate for couples experiencing domestic

    violence, severe relational distress, or active/untreated substance or

    mental health issues.

     

    2) What is the format of the program?

    -We will have a mix of therapist lead presentation in a group setting

    and individual couple skills practice. No one will have to share

    anything with the group.

     

    3) Who is leading this?

    -New Leaf Counseling Services therapist Whitney Harvey-Bluher,

    IMFT. Whitney has a Masters in Marriage and Family Therapy

    from Seattle Pacific University and has been working in the field

    since 2012. She has post graduate training in couples counseling,

    including completion of the Gottman Level One training. She’s

    worked extensively with couples in private practice since 2018.FAQ:
